Ocean County law enforcement investigating Brick homicide

For the second time this month Ocean County Prosecutors and Brick Police are investigating a homicide under mysterious circumstances that occurred within the township.

Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley Billhimer and Brick Police Chief James Riccio announced that the OCPO's Major Crime Unit and the Brick Police are currently investigating a homicide that occurred in the township on Sunday afternoon.

A male victim was dropped off at Ocean Medical Center in Brick with a stab wound but later died as a result of the injury.

OCPO Major Crimes and Brick PD are currently investigating several leads and attempting to interview family members and witnesses.

Investigators say that there is no danger to the public.
