
NJ Transit’s Northeast Corridor suspended by disabled train
NORTH BRUNSWICK — Service on part of NJ Transit 's Northeast Corridor was suspended at the end of the morning commute Friday.
A tweet at 9:30 a.m. said service was suspended at Jersey Avenue in both directions due to a disabled train.
- Westbound trains will bypass Hamilton and Princeton Junction.
- Customers must travel to Trenton for eastbound service to Hamilton & Princeton Junction.
- Bus service is being provided between Jersey Ave & New Brunswick
- Buses will be provided for westbound service from Princeton Junction & Hamilton to Trenton
NJ Transit has not yet returned a call seeking comment
Amtrak, which maintains wires and track along the Northeast Corridor, earlier tweeted about a power issue between Metropark and Trenton but said the problem had been resolved.
