We take our sandwiches very seriously here in the Garden State, and we are the birthplace of Jersey Mikes's, after all. So when you start putting the words "bucket list" and sandwiches" in the same sentence as New Jersey, it's going to catch your attention. So what is the Garden State's bucket list sandwich? Hint - it doesn't contain pork roll.

So, if you were thinking this is a "run down to the corner and get a pork roll, egg and cheese sandwich" kind of article, it is neither. This is more like a "get ready for a pretty long road trip to get a pretty awesome sandwich" kind of story.

For a sandwich to be of the "bucket list" variety, then it has to be a pretty special sandwich. And if you're going to burn gas to get there, the bill on this sandwich keeps going up, so we hope that Cheapism is right about this one.

If you're heading all the way to South Orange, to Town Hall Deli, that bucket list Sloppy Joe better be the most awesome sandwich ever. And to tell you the truth, it does look pretty amazing.

And if experience means everything they do know what they're doing. They opened in 1935. So, if your curiosity is piqued, then take the just over 1-hour trip to South Orange and visit the "Birthplace of the Sloppy Joe", right here in the Garden State.

If not, you can stop at one of the dozens of great sandwich joints we have right here at the Jersey Shore. Feel free to tell us your favorite!

PICTURES: See Inside Carrie Underwood's Beautiful Post-'American Idol' Home

Carrie Underwood invested her money wisely after winning American Idol in 2005. One of her first big purchases was a 3,099-square-foot home in the well-to-do Nashville suburb of Franklin, Tenn. Underwood paid $384,000 for a luxurious 3-bedroom, 3.5-bathroom stone and stucco home in a private gated community.

The house features a library, a vaulted ceiling and lovely amenities throughout, but while it's very nice, it's certainly not the kind of home you'd picture for a budding country superstar. Underwood wound up being a huge success right out of the gate with her debut album, Some Hearts, and she sold the home in Franklin for $372,500 in 2007, when she purchased the Brentwood mansion that she would later share with her husband, Mike Fisher.
