Great news for New Jersey moms. A new study lists New Jersey as one of the top states in the nation for working moms.

With Mother's Day around the corner, the study from WalletHub is welcome news for all the working moms in New Jersey. The Garden State ranks among the top ten states in the nation.

As a matter of fact, New Jersey ranks at #6 for 2019.  We have strong rankings for 'child care' (#7) and  work-life balance (#8), but only # 25 when it comes to 'professional opportunities'.

The top three states in the nation, according to the study are (from 3 to 1), Connecticut, Rhode Island and Massachusetts. New York ranked 20th and Pennsylvania landed at 37.

The results were compiled using 16 metrics in the categories of child care, work-life balance and professional opportunities.

It's good news for working moms in the Garden State. Sure, our moms deserve to be #1, but a #6 ranking is certainly a good start.
