Several actresses, authors, comedians, and even a chef are among the nominees for the 11th class of the New Jersey Hall of Fame.

Those up for the honor include notable native Garden Staters like Chris Rock, Seinfeld's Jason Alexander, Oscar winners Anne Hathaway and Whoopi Goldberg, and late chef and TV star Anthony Bourdain, according to 6abc.com. Author George R.R. Martin, creator of Game of Thrones, is also in the running.

Other nominees include singer Patti Smith, "Jaws" author Peter Benchley, actor Danny Aiello, former NBA Commissioner David Stern, and "Red Badge of Courage" author Stephen Crane.

You can vote for the inductees online through December 15th. They will be revealed in January, with the 2019 ceremony set for May.
