Election Day 2020 is finally here, and while it will likely be a while before we have official results, if you haven't dropped your paper ballot off yet, you still have a little bit of time, but that time is running out.

With the 2020 election being mostly conducted by mail-in ballots this year, the procedure to make sure that your vote is recorded is obviously different than what we're used to.

Most of us are used to going to our polling places in-person, signing the official voter registration book, and going into a booth to vote on a machine.

This year though, because of the COVID-19 pandemic, New Jersey made the call months ago to conduct voting mostly by mail-in balloting.

Obviously, being Election Day today, it's too late to put your ballot in the mail.

But, that absolutely does not mean that it's too late to vote.

With official secure ballot drop boxes spread out throughout the state, if you haven't sent your ballot in or dropped it off yet, you absolutely still can today.

At this point though, time is of the essence.

According to the official New Jersey Voter Information Portal, you have until 8:00 tonight, Tuesday, November 3rd, to drop your paper ballot into one of the secure drop boxes.

There are multiple secure ballot drop boxes spread out in every county in the state, with 17 in Ocean County alone.

You can click or tap here for the specific locations of each of the Ocean County ballot drop boxes.

Remember, that key time is 8:00 tonight, get those ballots dropped off if you haven't yet!
