New Jersey Among Top States For Dental Care – Study
February is National Children's Dental Health Month, and according to some recent research, New Jersey is among the top states in overall dental health.
According to WalletHub, New Jersey ranks 8th overall in the nation when it comes to dental health. The research looked at 26 key indicators to come up with their rankings of each state and the District of Columbia.
Some of the highlights for the Garden State include ranking 5th for 'most dentists per capita' and also ranking number 5 in the 'lowest percentage of adults with poor or fair oral condition'.
The only state in the northeast to rank higher than the Garden State was Connecticut, which came in at # 4. Wisconsin topped the list for states with the best dental care and the lowest ranked state according to the research was Arkansas.
So, a big shout out to all the New Jersey dentists who make this state a great place for teeth, and remember to get the kids to visit one of those great dentists during National Children's Dental Health Month.
