Attention Dog Lovers a New Dog Park is Coming to the Silverton Section of Toms River, NJ
We love our dogs and we love spending time with them. Often I hear folks talking about the need for more safe places for their dogs to go and play and be around other furry friends.

The need for more dog parks is always a topic of discussion among dog owners. It's a safe place for our pets to run, play, and get socially interactive with other dogs. Looks like dog owners in Toms River will be getting a new option for their pets.
According to a recent Patch article, a new dog park will be coming to the Silverton section of Toms River. This will be a welcome addition for many Ocean County dog owners.
According to the article, "the park will include vinyl fencing 4 to 10 feet high, pet waste stations, a walking path, new landscaping, benches and recycling bins."
Residents will need to keep in mind that only licensed dogs will be permitted in the new Silverton dog park, and residents will have to purchase $10 permits to use the park.
According to the Patch, if all goes well and there are no problems like supply shortages or weather, the new Silverton dog park could be open sometime in October.
