
New Coaster Coming to Jenkinson’s in Point Pleasant Beach

This season, families will be able to enjoy a brand new coaster at Jenkinson's Boardwalk in Point Pleasant Beach. The new coaster is the "Tidal Wave" and they have begun construction for the upcoming 2019 season.
According to the Jenkinson's website, the Tidal Wave is a beach and surf themed family spinning roller coaster which is inspired by Jenks' iconic beach culture.
The Tidal Wave will spin you in a clockwise manner and reach top speeds of 20mph. The coaster comes in at approximately 90 feet wide and 20 feet high.
The Tidal Wave is replacing the Flitzer Roller Coaster at the far south end of the amusement park.
