More Snow for New Jersey Starts Early Tuesday
New Jersey remains in line for more snow starting late Monday night into Tuesday morning.
A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued starting at 5 a.m. for Ocean, Monmouth, Burlington, Camden, Mercer, Hunterdon, Somerset, Middlesex, Morris, Warren and Sussex counties.
Snow will begin falling just before dawn from a fast moving Alberta Clipper low pressure area and continue until mid-afternoon, ending from west to east.2-4 inches of fluffy snow will fall in central and northern counties while 1-2 inches will fall along the I-195 corridor. Less than an inch is expected for south Jersey.
The snow will stick to untreated surfaces even during the day as temperatures stay below freezing.
NJ Transit will cross-honor tickets across their entire rail, light rail and bus system on Tuesday/
Temperatures will rise towards the end of the week with temperatures near 50 by the weekend.
