Monmouth County Freeholder Director Tom Arnone and Freeholder Deputy Director Sue Kiley have announced the new positive cases of COVID-19 in Monmouth County bringing the total to 4,669 overall as of Sunday afternoon.

Freeholders Arnone and Kiley report Sunday that Monmouth County leads the state in having the longest period of time for cases to double (24 days) and they credit the rank "to all of the residents who are all doing their part and practicing social distancing."

Howell has the most cases in Monmouth County with 410, Freehold Township has 408 and Middletown has 369.
