Millville, NJ man arrested in Monmouth County, NJ trying to deal fentanyl has been sentenced
A Millville man whose nefarious activity caught the attention of law enforcement saw his fentanyl distribution spree come to an end in Monmouth County.
Two years later, 36-year old Emanuel Figueroa-Martinez has been sentenced to more than 4-years in prison (51-months) for conspiring to distribute and possessing with intent to distribute 400 grams or more of fentanyl, U.S. Attorney Philip R. Sellinger announced on Friday.
Figueroa-Martinez previously pleaded guilty to an information charging him with conspiracy to distribute 400 grams or more of fentanyl and possession with intent to distribute 400 grams or more of fentanyl, which led to the sentence.
He set out two years ago this month on a mission to distribute five kilograms of fentanyl and when he brought the drugs to an undisclosed location in Monmouth County, he was arrested.
Law enforcement on-site recovered the fentanyl.
Following his more than four years in prison, he'll be under two years of supervised release.
