It was emotional ending to the New York Mets come from behind walk-off victory vs. the New York Yankees as the Mets paid tribute to Toms Seaver last night before the game at Citi Field.

"The Franchise", Tom Seaver passed away on Wednesday from dementia and COVID-19.

Seaver will definitely go down as the greatest New York Mets in franchise history.

The Mets were losing on three separate occasions last night to the Yankees, but they kept on coming back.

Eventually the game went to extra innings and the game was tied going into the bottom of the 10th with Pete Alonso stepping to the plate with a runner on 2nd base.

Alonzo, who has been struggling most of the season with runners in scoring position hit a "bomb" down the left field line into the stands giving the Mets a 9-7 walk-off victory.

The Mets swarmed him at home plate and the celebration began.
