Cinnamon roll? Blueberry muffin? Apple fritter? From your local McDonald's? Yep. And, for a few days in November, you'll be able to sample McD's new bakery items for free.

But, because 'free' is rarely actually FREE FREE with no strings attached, you'll have to jump through a few hoops first. Between Tuesday, November 3 and Monday, November 6, you can try one of the three McCafe baked good offerings when you order a hot or iced coffee through the official McDonald's mobile app, according to Fox News.

So, if you have their app and you usually swing through McDonald's to get your morning coffee ANYWAY, you'll be in good shape.

I have to admit I'm curious about the new bakery treats. It's reportedly been almost 10 years since McDonald's has added any new baked good to their menu. I'm guessing the introduction of chocolate chip cookies was the last? Those apple pies date back way, way further than a decade.

So, could a cinnamon roll from McDonald's be any good? I mean, even Starbucks pulls their baked goods out of plastic wrappers, so how bad could it be, right? I've yet to see any indication that the new McCafe bakery items are being made from scratch at every location, so I'm assuming it's kind of the same deal.

You can't blame McDonald's for wanting to get a bigger piece of the 'bakery' action and evolve past it's legendary breakfast menu.

Which McCafe baked good are you most likely to try? Let me know in the comment box below.
