Mayor of Motown SMOKEY ROBINSON Is 78 Today

Happy birthday to SMOKEY ROBINSON. Not only did he have his OWN long string of hits with the Miracles and as a solo performer, he also wrote some of Motown's most famous tunes such as "Get Ready," "The Way You Do the Things You Do," "You Beat Me to the Punch," "Two Lovers," "The One Who Really Loves You," "My Baby Must Be a Magician," "My Guy" and the timeless "My Girl."
