It's Island Beach's Second Annual Tree Recycling program and they want you to be a part of it.

Once again Island Beach State Park will be collecting "live" trees for their dune project. They did this for the first time last year and it turned out to be a huge event. This year if you are donating your real Christmas tree, you must register first. Click here to register.

Freshly discarded Christmas trees help to aid in the improvement and health of our dune system. What an awesome idea for residents of this awesome place to help out. Every year we ask, "What's Your Favorite Beach in Ocean County?" Island Beach wins all the time.
