The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Light The Night Walk is happening Saturday, October 30 at Mercer County Park in West Windsor.

This year the Long Branch Walk will be joining forces with western New Jersey to form an even bigger and stronger group of friends, family, and co-workers to celebrate, honor, and remember those touched by cancer.

Registration is free, but walkers are encouraged to raise funds to support the mission - lifesaving research and support for those battling cancer.

The Light The Night Walk is a moving event that you will never forget filled with inspiration and memories. There will be music, fireworks, and touching ceremonies honoring survivors and remembering those we have lost.

Each walker carries an iconic Light The Night illuminated lantern. White lanterns are carried by survivors and patients, red lanterns are carried in support of patients and finding cures, and gold lanterns are carried in remembrance of those we have lost.

Since 1949, The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society has invested more than $1.3 billion in cutting-edge blood cancer research worldwide.

The LLS mission is to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease, and myeloma and improve the quality of life for patients and their families.

LLS funds lifesaving blood cancer research around the world, provides free information and support services, and is the voice for all blood cancer patients seeking access to quality and affordable care.

This would not be possible without the support of communities like ours.
