Lakewood Cab Driver CarJacked – Suspects are at Large

Lakewood Police are investigating the knife point carjacking of a male taxi cab operator Tuesday night.

Township Police say the cab driver was attacked at an unknown location around 7:53 p.m. by two Hispanic male suspects.

However, the Lakewood Scoop reported that the cab driver was called to the area of Princewood Avenue and forced out of his vehicle, described as a blue Chevy Venture, by one of the suspects who pulled a knife on him

The cab was recovered a few blocks from the incident in the 800 block of Hearthstone Drive. The suspects remain at large.
