There has been plenty of allergy suffering going on lately at the Jersey Shore. So, is it supposed to get any better any time soon?

We checked with the Weather Channel to find out if they were projecting any relief in the next seven days for all of those Monmouth & Ocean County residents who have had just about enough this season.

So, what's the verdict? You don't want to know. But if you insist, here are the ugly details around some towns at the Jersey Shore...

Point Pleasant...For today, the tree pollen will be high and the ragweed will be very high, and the levels are expected to be high or very high for 5 of the next 7 days. There is a little relief Sunday and Monday, with levels expected to be moderate.

Freehold...See Point Pleasnt's projections. Expect the same in Freehold, so no relief inland either.

Red Bank...Same story here. 5 out of the upcoming seven days will be bad, with today and tomorrow being among the worst of them.

We tried to give you an idea of what it might look like in a few different towns, but it turns out the story for the upcoming week is the same for just about everyone. Bad, then getting better briefly, then bad again.

Sorry about that. We wish we had better news for you. It'll be another week of sneezing, coughing, runny noses and watery eyes at the Jersey Shore.
