Jersey Shore Covid-19 Positive Cases Summary

As the Covid-19 Coronavirus Pandemic continues our Townsquare Media Jersey Shore News Team will continue to post a report of all the cases coming out of Monmouth and Ocean County to help give an idea of where we've been and where we are currently sitting at the Jersey Shore.

Over the last two weeks in Ocean County there have been positive cases as of Friday afternoon August 7, as reported by the Ocean County Health Department and 10,549 overall since cases began being reported in March of 2020.

Here is how the daily cases break down for Ocean County over the past two weeks:

• Saturday July 25:  30 new cases reported bringing total to 10,169 overall.
• Sunday July 26 : 31 new cases reported bringing total to 10,200 overall.
• Monday July 27 : 50 new cases reported bringing total to 10,250 overall.
• Tuesday July 28: 57 new cases reported bringing total to 10,307 overall.
• Wednesday July 29: 12 new cases reported bringing total to 10,319 overall.
• Thursday July 30:  22 new cases reported bringing total to 10,341 overall. 
• Friday July 31: 58 new cases reported bringing total to 10,399.
• Saturday August 1: 27 new cases reported bringing total to 10,426.
• Sunday August 2: 28 new cases reported bringing total to 10,454.
• Monday August 3: 17 new cases reported bringing total to 10,471.
• Tuesday August 4: 13 new cases reported bringing total to 10,484.
• Wednesday August 5: 23 new cases reported bringing total to 10,507.
• Thursday August 6: 40 new cases reported bringing total to 10,547.
• Friday August 7: 2 new cases reported bringing total to 10,549.

Over the last two weeks in Monmouth County there have been positive cases as of Friday afternoon August 7, as reported by Monmouth County Freeholder Director Tom Arnone and Freeholder Deputy Director Sue Kiley and 10,627 overall since cases began being reported in March of 2020.

Here is how the daily cases break down for Monmouth County over the past two weeks:

• Saturday July 25: 38 new cases reported bringing total to 10,122 overall.
• Sunday July 26:  31 new cases reported bringing total to 10,153 overall.
• Monday July 27: 63 new cases reported bringing total to 10,216 overall.
• Tuesday July 28: 41 new cases reported bringing total to 10,257 overall.
• Wednesday July 29: 36 new cases reported bringing total to 10,293 overall.
• Thursday July 30: 23 new cases reported bringing total to 10,316.
• Friday July 31: 54 new cases reported bringing total to 10,370 overall. 
• Saturday August 1: 44 new cases reported bringing total to 10,414 overall.
• Sunday August 2: 21 new cases bringing total to 10,435 overall.
• Monday August 3: 11 new cases bringing total to 10,446 overall.
• Tuesday August 4: 36 new cases bringing total to 10,482 overall.
• Wednesday August 5: 70 new cases bringing total to 10,552 overall.
• Thursday August 6: 33 new cases bringing total to 10,585 overall.
• Friday August 7: 42 new cases bringing total to 10,627 overall.
