Jersey Shore Covid-19 Positive Cases Summary

As the Covid-19 Coronavirus Pandemic continues our Townsquare Media Jersey Shore News Team will continue to post a report of all the cases coming out of Monmouth and Ocean County to help give an idea of where we've been and where we are currently sitting at the Jersey Shore.

Over the last week in Ocean County there have been positive cases 10,861 as of Friday afternoon August 21, as reported by the Ocean County Health Department since cases began being reported in March of 2020.

Here is how the daily cases break down for Ocean County over the past week:

• Sunday August 16: 11 new cases reported bringing total to 10,733.
• Monday August 17 : 18 new cases reported bringing total to 10,751.
• Tuesday August 18 : 39 new cases reported bringing total to 10,790.
• Wednesday August 19:  21 new cases reported bringing total to 10,811.
• Thursday August 20: 4 new cases reported bringing total to 10,815.
• Friday August 21:  36 new cases reported bringing total to 10,861.

Over the last week in Monmouth County there have been 11,138 positive cases as of Friday afternoon August 21, as reported by Monmouth County Freeholder Director Tom Arnone and Freeholder Deputy Director Sue Kiley and since cases began being reported in March of 2020.

Here is how the daily cases break down for Monmouth County over the past week:

• Sunday August 16: 168 new cases reported bringing total to 11,042.
• Monday August 17: 8 new cases reported bringing total to 11,050.
• Tuesday August 18: 21 new cases reported bringing total to 11,071.
• Wednesday August 19: 24 new cases reported bringing total to 11,095.
• Thursday August 20: 7 new cases reported bringing total to 11,102.
• Friday August 21: 36 new cases reported bringing total to 11,138.
