Jahmel Crockham To Be Sentenced For Cop Killing Today

The Lakewood man convicted of killing a township police officer is scheduled for sentencing today.

Reports say, Jahmell Crockam is expected to appear before Superior Court Judge Wendel Daniels at 9 a.m. at the Ocean County Courthouse.

Crockham was found guilty, after a nine-day trial, of killing Lakewood Patrolman Christopher Matlosz last year. His charges carry a mandatory life sentence with no parole eligibility.
