The Philadelphia Phillies have painted the town red this month, with #RedOctober taking over the Delaware Valley during the Phillies playoff run.

However, #RedOctober will make way on Sunday Night to #KellyGreen for their Sunday Night Football game against the Miami Dolphins. The Eagles announced in the offseason that they will be wearing 1990's Kelly Green theme uniforms for this game.

"I think they look pretty cool." Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni said back in July.

"I think the one Eagles jersey I have is a Mike Quick jersey that just so happens to be Kelly Green, I think they're cool. Yeah, I'm excited that the fans are able to get those."

The Kelly Green uniforms will be worn twice this season, this week against the Dolphins and again in Week 12 against the Buffalo Bills.

“We are thrilled to bring back the Kelly Green uniform and helmet this season, and are equally excited to celebrate our team’s history with Eagles fans everywhere,” said Jeffrey Lurie, Philadelphia Eagles Chairman & CEO. “This is something we have wanted to do for a long time, and from the feedback we have gotten from our fans, we knew they felt the same way. It was always important to us that we align the Kelly Green helmet with the classic throwback uniform of this era. The league’s recent rule change around alternate helmets allows us to do that now."

Kickoff this Sunday is 8:20 pm from Lincoln Financial Field and can be heard on 97.3 ESPN with Merrill Reese and Mike Quick calling all the action.
