If you and the kids built a snowman on your lawn Monday, Brendan Schaffer's snow creation may give you an inferiority complex.

Schaffer, an artist and sand and snow and sand sculptor, spent the day creating a Wicked-inspired green witch outside his studio in Villas.

Folks in Villas have come to look forward to to Brenan's creations. Even 6ABC showed up to video the artist at work.

Local Artist Competes in Sand Sculpting Competitions

Schaffer told 6ABC that he has traveled the country competing in sand sculpting shows for the last 10 years.

When he heard the forecast for Monday's snowstorm, he brainstormed this clever idea for his snow creation.

Ok, snow fans! It looks like I may get my birthday wish to get some substantial snowfall this weekend! Any suggestions?!
My husband had a great idea, though...if the predictions are correct, there is a definish chance of a snow sculpture!

Schaffer said he often will spend 10-18 hours working on a snow sculpture, but he worked more quickly for 6 ABC's video shoot. See the 6ABC video below.

Defying gravity with my new sculpture! Worked quickly on this one for @newphillynews to be on the news tonight
