
$250K Scratch-Off Lottery Winner Buys Ticket at South Jersey Wawa
New Jersey lottery players have been keeping their eyes on the $250,000 Crossword scratch-off game, because six tickets for the game, which launched in August, were worth the top prize value of $250,000.
That's a mighty sweet price for a $10 scratch-off ticket.
On Sunday, the New Jersey Lottery announced that the fourth $250,000 top prize ticket had been sold at a Wawa in South Jersey.

The fourth of six grand-prize tickets in the “$250,000 Crossword” scratch-off game was purchased at the Wawa on Greentree Road in Sewell.
The lottery initially released more than 3.6 million tickets for the game.
Two more $250,000 tickets remain unclaimed in the game.

As nice as the prize is for the winner from the Sewell Wawa, a North Jersey lottery player had an even bigger payday with a scratch-off ticket to bring in the New Year, according to the New Jersey Lottery.
A lottery player in North Jersey rang in the new year by winning $1.7 million playing a $5 scratch-off game.
The New Jersey Lottery announced that a Hudson County lottery player won the top prize in its Win for Life! scratch-off game on Jan. 1.
The winner opted for a lump-sum cash payment of $1,769,80, instead of $10,000 a month for 25 years ($3 million), according to the lottery.
The winning ticket was sold at 502 Grocery and Deli on Ocean Avenue in Jersey City.
