The Mullica Township Police Department is asking for the public's help in finding 70-year-old Michelle Carroll.

It's been more than 3 weeks since police were called to Weymouth Road where Carroll was a resident at Homestead Residential Health Care Facility.

According to Mullica Township police,  They were told by the management of the facility, that Michelle Carroll was last seen early in the morning of January 5th taking out garbage.  They say she hasn't been seen since.

Carroll is known to frequent Dollar General on White Horse Pike in Ellwood, as well as Walmart on White Horse Pike in Hammonton.

She is known to carry a large black purse.  She is believed to be wearing a tan or black jacket at the time of her disappearance.

According to her sister, Susan McLeer, one thing that makes this story mysterious, is that Michelle has been known to use NJ Transit buses to get around.  However, NJ Transit says they have shown her pictures to their bus drivers, and none of them have seen her.

A post by Michelle's sister, Susan McLeer on Facebook says,

I was just with her last Saturday and she was doing very well. She is 70 years old and diabetic along with having neurologic impairment.

Michelle's sister has asked the community to share pictures of her sister hoping that someone will help her sister find her way home.

Police ask that if you have seen or have any information about Michelle Carroll's whereabouts, you contact the Mullica Township Police Department at (609) 561-7600.  After hours, you can call (609) 652-2037.
