Will This Popular Big Box Store Close Some Stores in New Jersey By the End of the Year
I hate when I see more stores closing and when they're the "big box" stores, they're empty for so long.
More and more people are shopping on-line and it's a sting to the economy.
What big box store is closing stores?
Best Buy. Best Buy is looking to close some stores by the end of the year. They want to offer a smaller experience for customers in some markets around the US. They'll be closing 10-15 stores, according thehill.com, adding to the closures of more than 20 stores in 2023.
Spending habits, the pandemic, and supplies not being available, among other things from the company has said.
Will Best Buy close any stores in New Jersey?
Not as of yet. Best Buy has closed one of their stores in Ohio. While some stores will close down for good, others could get a face-lift, the CEO of Best Buy has said. These changes to these stores that get a face-lift will bring excitement and relevancy to the center of the store area.
The CEO has also said the goal though is that every single one has a bit of a refreshed look and feel, will have more vendor partnership opportunities.
As the article states, Best Buy along with other "big box" stores are making changes. We recently heard about Target changing their self-check out lines. Macy's, The Body Shop, and The Dollar Tree have closed stores in different locations throughout the US.
