Growing uo here in New Jersey we always loved going out and "Trick or Treating" in our neighborhoods. For the most part the majority of residents took part. Yes there were always a few who did not, but there was plenty of candy to go around.

I remember we were so into it we would have two costumes and after making our first trip around the neighborhood we would change and empty our bags and head out for round two lol

Not sure what my favorite candy was but I'm thinking may Reese's Cups were the candy of choice followed by Snickers and M&M's. I have always been partial to "peanut" M&M's.

Is Trick-or-Treating Losing Its Appeal with Families?

A YouGov poll found that around 23% of adults planned to take a child trick-or-treating this fall.

A report from Patch: "An Associated Press-NORC poll last year showed a similar trend. About a third of U.S. adults planned to hand out Halloween candy, down from 42 percent in 2019."
