How beautiful is this time of year? One of my favorite seasons is fall and New Jersey always has beautiful autumn colors each year as the trees turn colors as winter gets closer here in the Garden State. I love snapping photos of these colors and doing some "leaf peeping" it is both beautiful and relaxing.

One of my favorite locations to see beautiful fall colors, and we have many places here in New Jersey, is along the Garden State Parkway. Take a drive along the GSP and you will see some awesome colors in the trees that outline the roadway. We are in prime "leaf peeping" viewing season right now, so don't put it off. Of course, at the same time we are enjoying the beauty of fall we are also dealing with the clean-up of leaves and well that's not as much fun.

Do you have a favorite spot to go leaf peeping? Maybe a local park? Maybe a hike in the Pine Barrens? Maybe a trip to the beautiful northwest section of New Jersey and the mountains and hills of Sussex and Warren County? Share your top picks for fellow leaf peepers and post your recommendations below. We always love getting your feedback.

According to USA Today, "National Park Service reported that leaf peeping is a very popular recreational activity in national parks in the fall season. Although more prevalent, leaf peeping is not exclusive to North America." Take a few moments to look through our photo gallery and take a virtual leaf-peeping tour, it's relaxing and a chance to not miss the colors of fall here in the beautiful Garden State.
