Liberty State Park has something for everyone. Biking paths, walking lanes to get in a nice hike, breathtaking views of Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty, and Liberty Science Center. You can even jump on a boat and shuttle off to see historic Ellis Island and the iconic Statue of Liberty.

Liberty State Park is located right on the Hudson in Jersey City and is easy to access from anywhere in the state. You will also see the New York City skyline to the east as you look out and see Lady Liberty and also Ellis Island, both of which you can visit by boat. It makes for an ideal day trip here in the Garden State and I am glad we did it.
