New Jersey’s Largest Pickleball Center Is Largest In The Northeast
Are You Playing Pickleball?
Do you play pickleball? Do you even know what pickleball is? According to Sportsimports.com, "Pickleball is a paddle sport that combines elements of tennis, badminton, and ping-pong using a paddle and plastic ball with holes. It is a game that is appropriate for players of all ages and skill levels. Rules for pickleball are simple, making it a great introductory sport."

I haven't played pickleball but it's becoming a hugely popular sport and New Jersey is home to the largest pickleball center in the Northeast.
In a recent Patch article, they highlighted a New Jersey pickleball center that has been billed as the latest pickleball venue in the Northeast and it's now open.
"The Robbinsville Pickle House, located at 153 W. Manor Way, first opened in October in the building that used to house Mercer County's Robbinsville Fieldhouse sports center. The 60-000-square-foot venue offers visitors 19 indoor pickleball courts, a restaurant and a bar."
According to the Sports & Fitness Industry Association (SFIA) "According to the report, pickleball participation has grown 51.8 percent from 2022 to 2023 and 223.5 percent in three years, with every single age group seeing increased participation." I guess I need to maybe go and play one time to see if I like the game. Tennis was simply too much on my shoulders. The last time I played tennis, which was the last time ever lol, I ended up with a bad shoulder for weeks so I haven't played. Maybe pickleball is better on the shoulder?
