The Best Mexican Restaurant In New Jersey Is Among Best In America

One of my favorite types of food to enjoy when dining out is Mexican. There are so many different dishes to choose from, and I have a hard time picking just one!

Enchiladas, tamales, flautas, chorizo, burritos, and tacos are just a few of the Mexican dishes I enjoy. There really is something for everyone when it comes to Mexican cuisine.

I love the bold flavors you find in Mexican cooking, along with all the vegetables and fresh ingredients that can be part of a meal.

And if you think Mexican food is always extremely spicy, don't let that stop you from giving it a try. Many dishes can be prepared with little or no heat. Of course, if you enjoy a little "kick," there are plenty of options for that too!

Another thing I really enjoy when visiting a Mexican restaurant is dessert. One of my favorites is Tres Leches Cake.

If you have never tried Tres Leches Cake, you are missing out. It is a wonderfully sweet and moist dessert, and I would easily put it in my Top 10 desserts of all time.

That's saying something because I have enjoyed plenty of desserts over the years!

Where Can You Find Great Mexican Food in New Jersey?

We are fortunate to have plenty of Mexican restaurants here in New Jersey. Whether you're grabbing tacos for a casual dinner or sitting down for a full meal with family or friends, there are lots of choices.

Here at the Jersey Shore, we have some great places to enjoy Mexican food. From Toms River and surrounding Ocean County communities to other Shore towns, you don't have to travel far to find tacos, burritos, enchiladas and plenty of other favorites.

But what if you're looking for one of the best Mexican restaurants in the Garden State?

You may want to head north to Jersey City.

According to Love Food, Orale Mexican Kitchen in Jersey City was named the best Mexican restaurant in New Jersey and included among the best Mexican restaurants in the country.

The restaurant offers some creative choices, including bone marrow tacos and avocado toast with seitan. Love Food also highlighted its cocktails, including blood orange and blueberry margaritas.

Jersey City certainly gives us another great reason to explore the food scene beyond our own part of the Garden State.
