An Ocean County man was arrested and charged with allegedly possessing and distributing a massive amount of child porn.
Michael Kozdron, 41, of Little Egg Harbor Township was found to have allegedly downloaded and uploaded a combined amount of more than 1,000 child porn images via the internet on a laptop, according to Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley Billhimer.
The investigation run by the Ocean County Prosecutor's Office High Tech Crime Unit identified the home where the images were being uploaded with Kozdron using bittorent Peer 2 Peer file sharing software.
On Tuesday, investigators with the OCPO-HTCU along with U.S. DHS, and Little Egg Harbor Police executed a search warrant at his home and in addition to finding the child porn materials, they said they saw 14 marijuana plants, lights, seeds, ventilation, and irrigation systems and paraphernalia to grow marijuana plants "in plain view".
Kozdron was then charged with Distribution of Child Pornography, Possession of Child Pornography, Maintaining or Operating a Controlled Dangerous Substance Production Facility, and Possession of More than Ten but less than Fifty Marijuana Plants with Intent to Distribute.
He was brought to Little Egg Harbor Township Police Headquarters where he was processed, and then brought over to the Ocean County Jail where he remains pending a detention hearing.
