The debate over the name for this food that's famous in Jersey. It's a Jersey thing and we wanna see if we can finally settle the battle between "Pork Roll" and "Taylor Ham". So let's talk turkey, or in this case, let's talk pork products. So what is "Pork roll/Taylor Ham"? According to Eater "Pork roll/Taylor ham is a processed pork product made with a mix of spices, salt, a sugar cure, and preservatives that is smoked before being packaged."

So I want to be totally transparent and say for me and my family it has always been "Pork Roll". There is no debating that for us it is a pork roll and cheese (maybe a fried egg) on a roll.
