Two New Jersey men were arrested on charges related to their alleged involvement in the illegal selling of vape products to minors in Middletown.
Police said they began investigating after reports came in from concerned citizens alleging stores in the Port Monmouth section of town were selling vape materials to those under the age of 21.
Detectives arrested 68-year old Nelson Yumul of Middletown for allegedly doing so at the Wilson Avenue Deli and 25-year old Haq Khan of Jersey City for his alleged illegal sales over at the Monmouth Smoke and Cigar Shop on Route 36.
Yumul and Khan were charged by Middletown Police for illegally selling vaping products to those under the age of 21, processed at headquarters, issued a summons complaint, and then released pending a court date.
