E Street Band’s Little Steven Gets Honored with Brother in Middletown, NJ🎸
If you are a Bruce Springsteen fan or loved the Sopranos then you probably are a fan of Steven Van Zandt, aka Little Steven. Steven has been a guitarist with the E Street Band for years and was a founding member of the Asbury Jukes with Southside Johnny. A big part of the Asbury music scene for decades. Along with Steven, his brother Billy Van Zandt (Actor, Writer, Producer) will be honored with a ceremonial renaming of the street they grew up on. The Van Zandts grew up in Monmouth County in Middletown at 263 Wilson Avenue and soon the street will get a re-do to "Van Zandt Way".

According to app.com, "A ceremony will take place 11 a.m. Friday, April 26, at the corner of Wilson and Cherry Tree Farm Road. The Van Zandts will be in attendance, as well as journalist Brian Williams; Middletown Mayor Tony Perry; Steve Edwards, president of the New Jersey Hall of Fame; and Gary Taffett, New Jersey Hall of Fame board member."
This is a cool honor for the Van Zandt Brothers. It was just announced that Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band will headline one of the days of the Sea, Hear, Now Festival in Asbury Park this summer. Billy Van Zandt has worked on some of television's most popular shows including “Newhart,” “Martin,” “The Hughleys,” “Suddenly Susan,” “Daddy Dearest” and many more.
Congratulations to the Van Zandt brothers and soon you can take a ride down Van Zandt Way, literally. Pretty cool for two Jersey boys who have done a lot since growing up in Monmouth County.
