The Story Of Outlaw Jacob Fagan, Farmingdale, New Jersey. If you own a home in Farmingdale, you may be living above the hand-dug tunnels made by notorious outlaw Jacob Fagan in the late 1700s.

He and his gang had hideouts in the town, including hand-dug tunnels. According to Only In Your State, this notorious outlaw may have hidden stolen loot in the Pine Barrens and his hideouts.

So, there may be loot somewhere in Farmingdale. Stranger things have happened.

Where Is Captain Kidd's Treasure Buried? The legendary Captain Kidd's treasure may be buried in our very midst in Monmouth County. Experts say there are 4 likely sites for the treasure, and two of those locations are in Monmouth County.

The Most Likely Locations Of Captain Kidd's Treasure?

One location is off the coast of Cliffwood Beach, where some Spanish coins have already been found, and the other is  Sandy Hook, where Kidd anchored during his last voyage.

And even though this was in Ocean County, it's an amazing story nonetheless.

The Long Beach Massacre And the Treasure of Barnegat Light. Captain John Bacon, a Tory raider who was loyal to Britain near the end of the 1700s, massacred 20 militiamen as revenge for their capturing of a grounded British vessel.

As the story goes, he made off with the treasure and buried it somewhere in the vicinity of Barnegat Light

These are incredible stories that might become more amazing if the loot is ever located.
