Start saving up now because it's going to cost you.

According to The Knot, the average cost of a wedding ceremony and reception in New Jersey will run you $51,000. That's a lot of money for one night. Yes, you want to have a beautiful and memorable wedding, but you don't want to go broke in the process.

So how can you save some money?

One way to save money is to not have your wedding in June, which is a very popular month for weddings.

DecemberJanuary and February are the least popular months for weddings, according to The Knot. You can get some really good deals. Plus, a winter wedding is so romantic.

Another way to save money is to have your wedding on a not so popular day of the week. That day would be Sunday. Sunday weddings are usually more affordable.

Consider having your wedding on a Sunday in January and hopefully it will be less expensive.
