Giant Indoor Playground and Luxury Spa Opening at Freehold Raceway Mall

It's the New Jersey mall that is stuck in time. I mean that in a good way, as in a mall that people actually shop at. Freehold Raceway Mall continues to thrive and excite with new stores and attractions moving in all the time. The mall's latest announcement has Jersey buzzing.

It's hard to top the additions of Dave & Buster's and Dick's House of Sport, but Freehold Raceway Mall has done it once again with four monumental additions. Our first is particularly sweet.

Läderach, a Swiss chocolate manufacturer, will be tempting shoppers beginning in late September 2025 in the upper-level center court. Founded in 1962, this family company employs over 2,500 people from more than 80 countries.  Läderach is all about attention to detail. The entire production process, from the cocoa bean to the store counter, is carefully monitored to ensure the best quality. If you can't make it to Switzerland, this is the next best thing.

Läderach’s iconic FrischSchoggi (fresh chocolate), pralines, and truffles have made it a favorite for chocolate fans.

Now, for some relaxation.

Have you ever shopped so hard that you felt you needed a spa day? Good news, now you can have one without even leaving the mall. Qi Balance Spa is opening in the fall of 2025 in the lower level by Dave & Buster’s, ideally situated near Freehold Athletic Club. Qi Balance Spa will offer deep-tissue, Swedish, or hot stone massage, along with many other amenities.

The Finish Line brand is expanding and rebranding to JD Sports. They are leaders in athletic footwear, apparel, and accessories, known for carrying top brands such as Nike, Adidas, Puma, and New Balance, alongside exclusive styles and limited-edition drops. Last, but not least.

Kids Empire, an indoor kids' playground, is set to open in early 2026, adjacent to Primark. This space will be massive at over 15,000 square feet. Kids Empire will offer children of all ages a safe, colorful, and action-packed environment where they can climb, slide, jump, run, build, snack, ride, and explore. Kids Empire has a reputation for being the perfect venue for birthday parties, family outings, and group activities.
