New Jersey's Big Rusty is Looking For Some Friends

Calling all artists! Big Rusty is a little lonely and looking for a few friends to keep him company and needs your help.

The 20-foot troll, sits at the end of a dirt road just off Route 38 in Hainsport, Burlington County.

This super cool piece of art, created last summer by Danish artist and recycling activist Thomas Dambo, is made from recycled trash.

People love Big Rusty so much that the county has started a campaign to create 13 more troll sculptures in the area.

They're looking for artists to use natural and recycled materials to design a unique structure that can withstand being outdoors.

It must be 4 feet tall. The county will give each artist a $500 stipend for materials and installation per troll, to be paid after completion and installation of the troll.

Burlington County welcomes new residents from across the globe, including trash-consuming trolls," said Felicia Hopson, the county commissioner director. "We were thrilled Mr. Dambo selected Burlington County to be the home of one of his amazing creations. We love the statue so much, that we decided to ask some artists to create some more trolls so Big Rusty isn't alone.

After hearing so much talk about this enormous troll I took the drive to Hainsport to meet Big Rusty and he's super cool!
