According to NJ.com, the Stelton Diner is getting ready to close its doors for good at some point over Memorial Day weekend this year.
The restaurant owner, Nick Kousoulis, says that he feels like he's ready ot finally retire after a lifelong career in the restaurant industry. Working in restaurants is exhausting, so wanting to finally retire and enjoy some time isn't the worst thing.
What's Replacing The Stelton Diner In Edison, NJ?
Of course, the Stelton will be missed, but it begs the question of what's coming next to the restaurant that sits at 433 Plainfield Avenue?
Nick says he plans on subleasing the building to QuikChek, so a convenience store will be opening up there in the next couple of months.
