
Roy Rogers Is Opening A New NJ Location For The First Time In Years
Something that I always thought was unique about Ocean County was our restaurants.
We have a little bit of everything, even our fast food restaurants are fairly unique.

Between White Castle and Freddy's off 37, there are some fast food joints that you'll only see near the shore.
Ocean County Is Home To NJ's Only Two Roy Rogers Locations
When my wife and I first bought our house in Ocean Gate, my dad who was helping us move, was blown away to see that there was a Roy Rogers Restaurant a mile and a half down the road from us in Pine Beach.
Roy Rogers is one of his favorite fast food spots and isn't a very common chain anymore, and where my parents live, just outside of Philadelphia, they are non-existent.

So when he saw a Roy Rogers restaurant he could go to while he was visiting us, he was pretty excited.
There's also a Roy Rogers in Brick, and soon Jersey will be getting a third Roy Rogers in an area that hasn't had one in decades.
What Happened To All Of The Roy Rogers?
At one point, Roy Rogers was a nationwide chain featuring hundreds of locations across America.
The brand eventually started to dwindle as consumer habits changed, leaving about 40 restaurants left in the country, mainly in PA, MD, and DE.
But now it looks like Roy Rogers is making some big changes and is planning a comeback, to an extent.
Roy Rogers Will Soon Open In Cherry Hill, NJ
South Jersey is getting a new roast beef sandwich spot, according to Patch.
Cherry Hill hasn't been home to a Roy Rogers in decades, and the new Roy Rogers plans on opening at 614 Haddonfield Road.
The new restaurant will be opening sometime in the coming weeks, with June being the ideal timeline for the new restaurant.
