This Wildwood, NJ Brewery Serves A Pretzel Beer With A Mustard And Salt Rim, And People Are Obsessed
It's not often I find myself left speechless by a beer flavor; more often than not, if it's a beer, I'll drink it. I'm not picky. However, there's one New Jersey brewery that's pushing the limits of beer flavors, and I'm one hundred percent ready to take a road trip to check out this Jersey Shore brewery.
I'm a big fan of the Facebook group Jersey Shore Day Drinkers; it's just a group of like-minded people who enjoy sharing great spots to grab a cold one, and sometimes they organize local meet-ups and happy hours. It's a fun group. And thanks to that group, I may have found one of Jersey's most unique breweries.

Beer With A Salt And Mustard Rim, Only In New Jersey
What first caught my attention from this brewery was a post on the Jersey Shore Day Drinkers page. Someone posted a beer picture where the beer had a mustard and salt rim. At first, I thought it was just some weird personal preference, but apparently, there's a brewery in Wildwood, NJ that insists its beer tastes better this way.
Anglesea Aleworks May Be NJ's Most Unique Brewery
The brewery in question is Anglesea Aleworks, located in Wildwood, New Jersey, and they swear that adding a mustard and salt rim to their pretzel-flavored ale is the best combo you can get at the shore.
The reviews I've read confrim that this is indeed delicious, and it tastes like you're drinking a fresh pretzel.
Anglesea Aleworks Is Known For Its Creative Beer Varieties
Anglesea Aleworks is no stranger to bold flavors, though. The current tap list also includes the Wah-Wah Butterscotch, which is a butterscotch-flavored strong ale, a Mexican Lager called The Cob, which features flaked corn, and a Sicilian Lemon Water Ice Seltzer, which is a hard lemonade served over ice.
Where Is Anglesea Aleworks Located?
Located at 3401 New Jersey Avenue in Wildwood, New Jersey, next time you're looking for a good beer adventure, you'll want to check out Anglesea Aleworks.
