It's the kind of place that collects toys for Toys for Tots each holiday season. It was always sure to support our local veterans and even sponsored local marching bands.
According to a social media post, Captain Paul's Firehouse Dogs is currently on the market to be purchased so its legacy can live long.
In a post on Facebook, owner Paul Tweedly says that due to health problems, he has to step down from running his hot dog stand after 15 years in action.
The outpouring of support was undeniable, with hundreds of comments thanking Captain Paul's Firehouse Dogs for all they've done for their community.
