The Harvard commit finished the season with 127 steals on the season, but also caused countless other turnovers with her aggressive defense either by other teams throwing the ball away, 5 second calls or travels. Emnace defense also leads to many easy baskets either for herself or her teammates.

 1st Team All Defense

McKenna Karlson – Junior – Manasquan
Karlson finished the season with 51 steals on the season. She one of the best lockdown defenders on this list and gets called upon to guard the opposing team’s best player.

Devyn Quigley – Junior – Manchester
Quigley, who is one of the best scorers in the state, can also do it on the defensive end. She finished with 105 steals playing on top of the Manchester’s zone defense. Her wingspan helps come up with steals and tip balls that result in turnovers.

Zoe Brooks – Senior – SJV
The NC State commit finished with 158 steals on the season, showing she can play on both sides of the ball. Her defense helped SJV when they would go on their 3rd quarter runs to open the games up.

Rylee Drahos – Senior – Shore Regional
The Rochester commit finished the season with 128 steals. Similar to Quigley, she is able to come up with steals, intercept passes and tip a lot of balls on top of the 3-2 zone for Shore Regional. When Shore Regional played their trap defense, Drahos created a lot of turnovers that led to fast break points..

Cassidy Kruesi – Sophomore – St. Rose
Kruisi finished with 33 steals, but like Karlson, she always was given the hardest assignments on the defensive end. Every year St. Rose has one of the toughest defensives in the Shore Conference and Kruisi, who is only a sophomore, is one of the reasons why.
