A recently released study ranked the states from most fit to least fit. So how did New Jersey do?

The fact of the matter is that we all cringe a little when we hear a study ranking all the states because, frankly, we never do well with these...unless the topic is property taxes or traffic.

So, are you ready to find out just how badly we rank in this study? Do you want to know just how unfit we are. Well, I hate to disappoint you, but it turns out we're pretty fit. Good for you New Jersey. I never doubted you for a minute!

It turns out that inc.com ranked all the states for fitness and they say New Jersey is in "Tier 1", meaning we are among the top 11 most fit states in America. Go us! For the record, we are #11, and Colorado is #1.

So that stereotype of New Jersey people being unfit, angry, stressed, overcharged and overworked is completely and categorically untrue. We are, in fact, fit.

The least fit state, according to the study is Mississippi, and the rankings were compiled by using diet, cholesterol levels, activity levels and obesity.
