It definitely should have!

New Jersey is known for a lot of things; amazing pizza, beaches, lush greenery, the occasional crazy driver on the Parkway, and of course sarcasm.

Before living in New Jersey, I went to college in West Chester Pennsylvania, go rams, and one of my buddies from that time was born and raised in Jersey.

When I tell you he was one of the most sarcastic people I've ever met, I mean almost every sentence was dripping with it.

I could never tell if he was serious or not, and at some point that rubbed off on me too.

I've been called a smart ass around the station more than once so far.

So, it makes sense that when the brewers at Bolero Snort Brewery in Carlstadt decided to make a Jersey centric brew that they'd release this masterpiece.

The Jersey Sarcasm American Lager

According to Bolero Snorts Instagram page the beer is a quote "no frills, pun free beer".

It's available right now on tap in the brewery, and in to go's, but starting August 23rd cans will be distributed state wide, according to Brewbound.com

This got me thinking, if you were going to style a beer after New Jersey what would you call it?

A few that came to mind for me?

• Road Rage Roggenbier
• The Parkway Sucks IPA
• Benny's Beware Blonde Ale
• Too Many Tolls Imperial Stoudt

Although I'm sure if you've spent most of your life in the Garden State you can come up with some pretty good ones too!
