If you want the Garden State to rank highly in a poll, you better do that poll on taxes, congestion or cost of living, because it turns out we're not very sinful.

A recent study done by WalletHub puts 20 state ahead of New Jersey, which also means there are 29 state behind us on the sinful list. But we've all been in the Garden State long enough to take 21st place with a smile on our face.

The most sinful state is of course Nevada, the home of 'what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas'. Texas came in at #2 and Florida is America's 3rd most sinful states. Our neighbors both are more sinful than we are.

New York is the 20th most sinful state and Pennsylvania is #16. The seven dimensions used to determine the rankings were anger & hatred, jealousy, excesses & vices, greed, lust, vanity and lazinesss.

For the record, our highest rating was in the "vanity" category where we are proudly named the 4th most vain state in America. We can act surprised, but deep down, we're really not.

And we're the 20th laziest state., and I'm actually pretty surprised at that. I'm relieved we weren't much higher than that.
