As the curve keeps on flattening and less and less people are being reported infected or hospitalized our Townsquare Media Jersey Shore News Team will post a weekly report of the cases coming out of Monmouth and Ocean County's instead of a daily report.

In Ocean County there have been 9,314 positive cases as of Friday morning June 19 with Lakewood having the most followed by Toms River and Brick, as reported by the Ocean County Health Department.

Ocean County has reported 223 cases since last Friday which is 32 more cases reported than the week prior.

Here is how the daily cases break down for Ocean County this week:

  • Friday June 12:  43 new cases reported bringing total to 9,134.
  • Saturday June 13: 57 new cases reported bringing total to 9,191.
  • Sunday June 14: 9 new cases reported bringing total to 9,200.
  • Monday June 15: 18 new cases reported bringing total to 9,218.
  • Tuesday June 16: 22 new cases reported bringing total to 9,240.
  • Wednesday June 17: 32 new cases reported bringing total to 9,272.
  • Thursday June 18: 42 new cases reported bringing total to 9,314.
  • Cases this week: 223.

In Monmouth County there have been 8,962 positive cases as of Friday morning June 19 with Middletown having the most cases for a single town followed by Freehold Township and Howell, as reported by Monmouth County Freeholders Tom Arnone and Sue Kiley.

Monmouth County has reported 230 cases since last Friday which is 27 more than the week prior.

Here is how the daily cases break down for Monmouth County this week:

    • Friday June 12: 27 new cases reported bringing total to 8,759.
    • Saturday June 13: 47 new cases reported bringing total to 8,806.
    • Sunday June 14: 14 new cases reported brining total to 8,820.
    • Monday June 15: 27 new cases reported bringing total to 8,847.
    • Tuesday June 16: 58 new cases reported bringing total to 8,905.
    • Wednesday June 17: 10 new cases reported bringing total to 8,915.
    • Thursday June 18: 47 new cases reported bringing total to 8,962.
    • Cases this week: 230.
