Helpful Hints – Fight Mosquitoes This Spring

Here are some Helpful Hints on fighting off mosquitoes this season.  Be especially aware of the Asian Tiger Mosquito!  

• Get rid of all standing water as soon as possible - they can breed within 1/4 inch of water!
• Plant rosemary, thyme or lemon balm in your yard to discourage mosquitoes
• Plant geraniums in your garden to discourage mosquitoes
• Crush a leaf and rub into skin when outside to repel mosquitoes (be sure you are not allergic before rubbing)
